Patient Rights and Defense

ProDental Centers is committed to treating every patient with dignity, respect, and transparency. As a patient, you have the following rights:
1. Right to Quality Care
- Safe, respectful, and nondiscriminatory dental care
- Treatment that meets professional standards
- Access to emergency dental services when clinically necessary
2. Right to Informed Consent
- Receive clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment options
- Understand risks, benefits, and alternatives
- Ask questions and receive understandable answers
- Accept or refuse treatment
3. Right to Privacy and Confidentiality
Your health information is protected under HIPAA. You have the right to expect confidentiality of your dental records and control how your information is shared, unless required by law.
4. Right to Access Your Records
You may request copies of your dental records, corrections to inaccurate information, and a disclosure history of your PHI.
5. Right to Affordable and Transparent Billing
You have the right to clear explanations of financial obligations, estimates for recommended treatments, fair billing practices, and information about insurance coverage.
6. Right to Respect and Non-Discrimination
You will not be denied care based on race, color, nationality, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, religion, or financial status.
7. Patient Responsibilities
We ask that patients provide accurate information, follow treatment plans, pay for services rendered, respect staff and other patients, and keep or cancel appointments as agreed.
8. Advocacy and Complaints
